Microbrasserie Jackalhop Augustin

Overview

Microbrasserie Jackalhop releases Augustin as a stout with a deep, dark allure. At 11.9% ABV this beer delivers a full, creamy base that unfolds in roasted malt, cocoa and warm coffee aromas. Despite the strength, the profile stays balanced and elegant in the mouth, so every sip invites slow tasting. The long, subtly bitter finish reveals nuance and complexity step by step. Fans appreciate the combination of intensity and refinement in Augustin. Perfect as a closer to a hearty meal or as the centrepiece of a beer tasting with friends.

Serving tips 🥂

• Powerful, full mouthfeel – A rich profile that develops as it warms up, ideal for slow tastings.
• Gentle balance between sweet and bitter – A subtle nuance that keeps the flavours in balance and makes every sip engaging.
• Silky-smooth texture – A smooth mouthfeel that goes well with chocolate, cheese and desserts without overpowering the bite.

Food pairings 🍽️

• Dark chocolate and caramel desserts – The deep roast amplifies cocoa and caramel, so dessert and beer enrich each other in the aftertaste.

• Nuts and a cheese board with mature cheeses – Intense roasted nuts and mature cheeses gain extra depth thanks to Augustin's intensity.
