Hoptimaal offers a wide variety of beers both in-store and online. If you can place an order, we usually have the product in stock (though mistakes can happen, unfortunately). Products that are in stock will be shipped the same day if ordered before 3:00 PM.
If we make an error with stock levels, you will be notified within 24 hours. In that email, we will offer you an alternative product, the right to a full refund, and a new delivery time. It's up to you how you'd like us to resolve the issue.
We ship all orders with DPD from the Netherlands. You can choose between:

Deposit
On cans and bottles we charge the Dutch deposit (statiegeld): €0.15 per can and €0.10 per bottle (a little more for some bottles). It shows as a separate line in your cart. The deposit belongs to the Dutch deposit system: you can return the packaging in the Netherlands, not in deposit machines in other countries.

Delivery
DPD generally delivers within 2-5 business days of receiving the package. You can track your order using the tracking information we send, so you can see exactly where your package is. DPD will also give you a time window of 2 to 4 hours for delivery. Not at home? No problem! You can choose whether you want them to deliver again the next day or leave it at the nearest post office.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period after receiving your product. Within this period, you can request a return. The email you received when your order was shipped contains a link to easily download and print a return label. After registering your return, you have another 14 days to send the product back. If you've purchased multiple items at once, the return period begins after receiving your last item.
How to return or exchange a product:
Fill out the return form within 14 days of receiving the product. If you're unable to print the return form, at least include your order number and name on a piece of paper and include it in your return.

Our store is equipped with plenty of cold storage space. Beers like IPAs and smoothie sours are kept refrigerated after arrival.
Almost all of our beers are available online. But only in our physical store in Amersfoort will you find our complete range. Check our opening hours here.

Messorem Tempus Prunorum is a plum-driven Saison with spicy esters and a pleasant acidity. The beer combines fruity plums with the characteristic saison body, ending in a dry, satisfying finish. At 6% ABV it has enough presence for a relaxed tasting evening, without being overpowering. The beer strikes a balance between fruit, spice and dryness.
Serving tips 🍺
Plum-driven fruitiness and saison spices: A mix of ripe plums and spicy esters creates a fruity, lightly peppery profile that reinforces the typical Saison experience.
Optimal serving temperature and glassware: Serve at about 8–12 °C in a tulip or goblet glass to bring out the aromas and freshness as much as possible.
Approachable strength with deep flavour: At 6% ABV this beer has presence for a pleasant sipping session without being overpowering, so that several sips go into every layer you discover.

Dairy and cheeses: Plum fruitiness offers a pleasant counterpart to salty cheeses such as aged Gouda, bringing the flavours into balance.
