With Hops Attack, Seven Island Brewery from Corfu throws down the gauntlet. A Double IPA clocking in at 8% that lives up to its name – this Greek hop bomb packs American and New Zealand hops that hit you right from the first pour.

Tasting Notes

Pours a golden orange with a persistent white head. The aroma telegraphs what's coming: tropical fruit, citrus peel, and a hefty dose of pine resin. The flavour follows suit with layers of grapefruit, mango, and mandarin, backed by a solid but not overwhelming bitterness. The mouthfeel is full and creamy, the finish long and hoppy with a pleasant dry aftertaste.

Brewery

Seven Island Brewery is a microbrewery on the Greek island of Corfu, founded by Lefteris Mesimeris and Costantin Pougatsias. They craft beer for enthusiasts, from hop-forward IPAs to barrel aged stouts. The name references the seven-island complex to which Corfu belongs.

Serving
