Overview

Two Saint Augustine bourbon barrels, espresso and dulce de leche: Bourbon BA Too Much Bliss makes no secret of its dessert ambitions. An imperial pastry stout at 11% ABV, filled in 330 ml bottles.

Tasting Notes

The profile is built on three things: bourbon barrel, coffee and dulce de leche (vegan). The coffee is Yum'Espresso, roasted by Yume. Expect a heavy, rich stout where barrel, espresso and milky caramel sweetness play off each other. At 11% ABV, this is one to sip slowly.

Brewery

Blackout brews in Romania. This stout is a small release, with only 700 bottles in existence.

Serving

Pour at around 10-12 °C into a snifter or tulip glass, on its own as dessert or alongside vanilla ice cream.
