A powerful Double IPA from Dublin that lives up to its name. At 8% ABV, this is a fully developed IPA offering more depth than your average hop bomb.

Tasting Notes

The nose immediately delivers intensity with tropical fruit and resinous hop character. On the palate, the full body stands out, with the 8% alcohol providing warmth without dominating. The finish is long-lasting with a robust bitterness that lingers – exactly what you'd expect from a DIPA.

Brewery

Whiplash from Dublin has built a reputation since 2016 for modern craft beer with constant experimentation and new releases at its core. The brewery operates from its own facility in Ballyfermot and has become one of the key representatives of Ireland's craft beer movement.

Serving

Serve at 8-10°C in a tulip glass and allow the beer to breathe to unlock all its layers.
